My Philosophy of Counseling:
"I view counseling as a joint effort towards change between the client--who bravely shares the thoughts, emotions, and experiences which form the current self--and the therapist, who listens, understands, and reflects back in a caring and supportive manner. I believe an effective counseling session is one in which a client develops a richer, more insightful understanding of self and gains a better awareness of the strengths and choices available to live a fuller and more satisfying life." --Rhonda Roush, LPC, NCC
